What pairs well with a warm summer afternoon in Palm Springs? A cool creamy serving of fresh gelato! A recent stroll on Palm Canyon brought me to Gelato Granucci. I think I was secretly searching for something sweet and refreshing without realizing it.
Walking through the door I was warmly greeted and asked if I wanted to sample any of the flavors. After savoring a few – all very tasty, I settled upon two flavors: salted caramel and pistachio. Both flavors were very true to their names, light, creamy and not overly sweet. Just right!! Pleasantly, the pistachio was not green, and had a distinctively nutty flavor.
Gelato Granucci is a family owned business and the gelato is made from scratch.
